Lockheed Martin Taps MakerBot 3D Printers

50 years after NASA sent the famous “Moon Buggy” to the lunar surface, a joint-venture between Lockheed Martin and GM is back at it. This time the manned lunar rover will be packed with sensors and have AI-powered autonomous capabilities. For this project, the team at Lockheed’s ATC selected the MakerBot METHOD X 3D printer to speed development of the AI-powered platform.
