Raise3D Go Green Initiative
Posted by John Marello on
Go Green Initiative The “Go Green Initiative” represents Raise3D’s commitment to pursue the best knowledge and follow the best practices with the aim of minimizing its ecological footprint. Raise3D believes the best approach is to be green by nature. As a designer and manufacturer of additive manufacturing equipment and solutions, being green by nature translates mostly into designing solutions that can be efficient in terms of energy and sustain a heavy workload with full operational effectiveness for many years. As a company that is part of a whole business environment, however, there are many more areas we will consider, and many positive actions we can take....

Raise3D - 3D Printing in the Medical Field
Posted by John Marello on
Raise3D is collaborating with an innovative hospital to incorporate specialized FFF 3D printing into the production of orthotic insoles. By combining Raise3D’s E2 desktop 3D printer with ideaMaker, Raise3D’s 3D slicing software, the insoles retain their high performance while remaining cost-effective. The hospital had insight into a decade of the success of 3D printing and had high standards for the any insoles made using this method of production. It was decided to improve orthotic insoles by implementing 3D printing in conjunction with other digital technologies to the insole fabrication process. The hospital established its 3D Printing Clinic to operate with additional technical support...

NEW Raise3D Filaments Available from Profound3D! Introducing the Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Filament and the Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Support Filament Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Filament is a carbon fiber-reinforced composite filament material based on Nylon 12 (Polyamide 12). Thanks to being reinforced with short carbon fibers, it exhibits excellent rigidity and strength, heat resistance, low warpage, and low water absorption. Raise3D Industrial PA12CF Support Filament is a break-away support material specially developed for carbon fiber reinforced composite materials. It creates a stable support structure during the printing process, providing proper adhesion to printed surfaces and counteracting any tendency to...
