Day and night they pump out vibrant, plastic figures, from model rockets to Millennium Falcons. One door over in the Invention Studio, patrons use connectable, electronic pieces known as littleBits to link speakers, sensors and lights — among other technologies — to Lego blocks in order to develop prototypes of any concept they can think up. 3D printing workshops held at Paola school

Taken from Times of Malta Senior 2 students at Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School, Paola, are being introduced to the basics of 3D designing, using 3D builder software provided to the school by Microsoft. During a series of workshops they are designing keychains using the software and then seeing them being printed. The students also had the opportunity to use the latest 3D printing apps on educational tablet computers provided to the school by Microsoft. Entire article here.
