How to 3D Print with Dual Extruders
Posted by John Marello on
Raise3D - How to 3D Print with Dual Extruders A 3D printer with dual extruders is called a dual extruder 3D printer. The extruders of a dual extruder 3D printer are either independent or dependent. Independent dual extruders, also known as IDEX, will be able to separate from one another and work independently during a print job. IDEX also makes it possible for one extruder to remain motionless, and off to the side while the second extruder creates a 3D printed part. There are several steps to consider in the process of 3D printing when using a dual extruder 3D printer....

MakerBot Webinar - The Secret to 3D Printing Stronger Parts
Posted by John Marello on
Part strength is extremely important when 3D printing manufacturing tools, production parts, or even test prototypes. While material selection is part of the equation, there is another less talked about feature that exists on the MakerBot METHOD that can provide almost 2X the strength of a part printed in the same material on a competitive desktop 3D printer. Tune in for this episode of the MakerBot PRO Webcast Series as we dive into all things part strength and uncover the secret feature of the MakerBot METHOD that allows it to print stronger parts in the same materials. https://bit.ly/3zN5DXs MakerBot Method...
