Zortrax v2 Extruder Cover
Posted by Jeff Coulter on
The Zortrax M200 has been shipping with a new and improved 3D printed Extruder Cover. We're printing some for our older in-house units. These should help cut down the stress on the cable as it traverses the print area. One of the many little improvements that have come with time on the Zortrax printers. You can get your own file to print here:http://library.zortrax.com/project/extruder-top-cover/

Carbon Fiber?
Posted by Jeff Coulter on
Yeah - the Raise does that.Initial test of some pre-release carbon fiber filament. Looks like gorgeous stuff, and after installing a hardened nozzle, it printed quite well at the middle of the suggested temp range. More tests to come with some larger models - this was just to find settings for successful printing.

It's Baaaaaack!

The Raise3D N2PLUS is back up and running after a Hotend rebuild. Another gorgeous Burj completed, including that tiny spire top that confounds most printers.

Profound 3D Keytag!

Thanks to our summer intern, Jimmy, for designing and printing these for us on one of our CraftBots! [Jimmy owns a CraftBot Plus and knows the system well, obviously!] This was printed using our new Professional PLA material, now available in our webstore. It prints really well on the CraftBot using the default [215C] PLA setting.
