The right color, works very well in my machines.

The right color, works very well in my machines. I don't know why but it's super hard to find the gray color. My customers want this color. Octaves abs always worked without any problems. Keep it in stock!

Octave ASB Filament -Yellow and White

Both Filaments performed well. Functioned within listed temp range and at expected feed rates with minimal temp tweaking necessary after first layer slice was down.

Always love this filament.

I love the Octave filament. It is consistent and the abs is pure. It makes great abs glue as well.

Octave ABS

Hello,
I haven't used the ABS yet.
I am using the black PLA and it's working great on my Creality Ender 3 Pro.

Thanks!

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • What is the shrinkage percentage of this filament?

I'm sorry, the manufacturer does not provide any specific information on that.
It should be similar to any generic ABS material.

  • How does this ABS compare to Z-ABS (Zortrax) in shine? Is it matte, satin, or glossy? (Z-ABS is matte)

The finish on the Octave ABS is a little bit more glossy than the Zortrax Z-ABS, but it’s not extremely glossy.

It’s not going to match the matte finish of Z-ABS exactly, but it’s also not going to look like shiny like a PLA print.

  • What is the optimal nozzle temp for the highest structural strength? Been using this filament for years exclusively. Great stuff

We generally run it about 240.
It works well at that temp on most systems - YMMV.
