This Composite Extruder is included with the Carbon Fiber Edition of the MakerBot METHOD and METHOD X 3D printers.  Use the composite extruder to 3D print for structural applications and metal replacement parts.

The Composite Extruder for MakerBot METHOD is compatible with both METHOD and METHOD X models.

Please note: To extend extruder life, we recommend not switching between METHOD and METHOD X materials with one model extruder.  Use separate extruders for low-temperature and high-temperature materials.
