Zortrax Inventure Z-PETG Filament Cartridge - 350g
Strong, Durable, and Resistant to Chemicals
Z-PETG for Zortrax Inventure is an excellent material for industrial and mechanical 3D printing applications
Zortrax Z-PETG filament combines standard PET material with glycol (to reduce brittleness), and the combination results in a 3D printing plastic that features improved durability and tensile strength. Z-PETG’s resistance to oils, greases, salts, acids, alkalis, and other solvents, as well as its immunity to UV light, makes it an industrial-grade 3D printing material designed to work in extreme environments. Printing your prototypes with Z-PETG allows you to test in various industrial conditions. Z-PETG’s low shrink factor means that models maintain dimensional accuracy making it a good choice for 3D printing complex mechanical elements as well as final components.
- Chemical resistance -models printed using Z-PETG filament provides your 3D printed casings and containers with resistance to chemicals including salts, acids, alkalis, solvents, greases, and oils.
- Impact resistance - Z-PETG’s durability makes it ideal for 3D printing tools and mechanical parts
- Very low shrinkage - Z-PETG offers virtually shrinkage-free 3D printing for accurately producing intricate mechanisms with your Zortrax Inventure
I've been mostly printing in ABS over the years. I think the PETG has been a nice shift. Great looking parts. Less odor. And haven't had any warping issues. Certainly thinking about making this my go to material for now on. The Zortrax cartridge is kinda pricey for the amount of material but anyone investing in a Zortrax already knows this. It's the price of a simplified overall experience. From a waste standpoint I do wish there was a way to refill these though.
