Robo3D ABS Printer Filament
Material: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
Weight: 1 kg (2.2 pounds)
Robo3D produces this ABS filament to the precise specifications required for optimum performance from its 3D printers. Robo3D 100% certifies the quality of its 3D printer filament, so you know you'll get the best possible results when you print with it.
ABS is a petroleum-based plastic, and 3D printing with ABS filament requires a heated build plate. ABS tends to be more flexible than PLA plastic (comparatively speaking), and sanding and machining, as well as removal of supports and raft, is generally easier when using ABS. ABS has a higher melting temperature than PLA, and is more susceptible to warping, curling or lifting than PLA.
