PETG’s resistance to moisture makes it a choice material for liquid containers and bottles, which also makes it great for prototyping those types of products. PETG is also commonly used in research labs that require chemical resistance to acids and alkalis in functional parts, containers, jigs, fixtures, and end-use parts.

MakerBot METHOD PETG is compatible with MakerBot Method and Method X 3D printers, using Material Extruder 1.  Use MakerBot PVA water soluble support material when 3D printing with PETG.
