EinScan Pro 2X Plus Handheld 3D Scanner
Like the EinScan Pro 2X, the EinScan Pro2X Plus 3D scanner is fast, accurate, and portable, making it a versatile and reliable 3D scanning solution. The main difference between the Pro 2X and the Pro 2X Plus is that the Pro 2X Plus features a larger single scan area and working distance. This means the Pro 2X Plus can scan faster, especially when scanning larger objects.
Additionally, the HD Prime Pack add-on is available for the Pro 2X Plus, which increases the scanning speed and allows marker-free scanning in handheld HD scan mode.
The Pro 2X Plus rapidly captures and delivers watertight 3D data of real objects for 3D printing, or non-watertight data for reverse engineering applications. With its ergonomic design, and weighing under 3lbs, the multi-functional 3D scanner is portable and fit for any duration of handheld scan. With four versatile scan options, the EinScan Pro 2X Plus is equipped for portable and high-accuracy scans, perfect for educators, designers, and home hobbyists who want to explore the capabilities of 3D design and printing.Four Scan Options
With the EinScan Pro 2X Plus, you can choose the scan mode that best suits your needs:
- Handheld Rapid Scan for portable, rapid scanning
- Handheld HD Scan for capturing objects with high accuracy (50 microns)
- Fixed Scan with Turntable (Optional Industrial Pack - Tripod/Turntable required)
- Fixed Scan without Turntable (Optional Industrial Pack - Tripod/Turntable required)
Use the EinScan Pro 2X Plus for high-quality reverse engineering, manufacturing, 3D modeling, customized products, scanning industrial parts, sculptures, artifacts, human bodies, healthcare, research, education, virtual displays, and more.
Triangulation and structured light projection ensure high accuracy. The accuracy in fixed scan mode is 0.04mm,
Scan Small to Large
With handheld and fixed scan modes, and optional full-color texture scanning (Color Pack required), possibilities are practically endless.
In handheld rapid scan mode, scan speed is 1,500,000 points per second (30 fps).
Includes EXSCAN PRO scanning software, which features a new and improved user interface and workflow, and Solid Edge SHINING 3D Edition CAD software, a design tool from SIEMENS PLM Software that allows reverse engineering and design from scan data with the ability to export to Solidworks or other CAD programs.
Data output can be used for 3D printing or reverse engineering. STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, ASC, and P3 format options.
Multiple Align Mode Options
Choose from feature alignment, markers alignment, turntable coded targets alignment, and manual alignment.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Hello, I was looking at your 3D scanner and I was wondering if there is a limit on how big the part can be? Also, this scanner does create a 3d model of the part correct? Does this scanner need to have a turn table or can you just use your hand? Any information provided will be helpful. Thank you!
The simple answer to the scanner's size limit is that the software for the EinScan Pro 2X Plus allows a maximum scan distance in one direction of 4m, but the real answer is a bit more complicated. The software also has a point-distance limit of 8,000, which means to achieve a large scan, you must reduce the resolution. Additionally, scanning large objects can be challenging becauase as you scan larger objects, there is an increased risk of tracking loss, which is why the use of markers is highly recommended for large parts. Also, computer capcity can become an issue as larger scans generate larger files.
The scanner and its software create 3D model files of the scanned parts. The options for file output formats are OBJ , STL , ASC , PLY , P3 , and 3MF.
The scanner does not need to have a turntable, you can just use the handheld scan modes. The optional EinScan Industrial Pack does include a turntable and tripod, which allows for automated, engineering-grade scanning of objects from 1.5" - 6" in height and up to 10lbs.
